The Cornell Latino Alumni Association launches mentoring initiative for students

CLAA’s broad alumni network is filled with experienced professionals who can provide undergraduate and graduate students with advice and guidance to help with personal and professional development and help to lead through discussion and path exploration.

This mentoring initiative is designed to connect students with CLAA alumni who have expertise in specific fields, and to cultivate, engage, and inspire Cornell Latina/o/x students in achieving personal and professional excellence and be the leaders of today and tomorrow.

This program is an opportunity for Cornell alumni to share their work experience in their area of expertise, and a chance for students to gain insights from seasoned professionals and receive personalized mentorship that can help them achieve their career goals.

Interested students please contact David Sandoval ‘99, CLAA’s Mentorship liaison at dave_sandoval@hotmail.com

"The CLAA Mentoring Initiative is an invaluable resource that all students should take advantage of.  We have dozens of highly accomplished alumni who have been down the same path today's students are walking.  We understand your stories and struggles and we want today's students to benefit from our experience.  Our goal is to help today's students become tomorrow's success stories.  And hopefully, the mentors of the future."
