Now in its twenty second year, the Latina/o Studies Fridays with Faculty luncheon seminar offers an opportunity for Latina/o and non-Latina/o students of all levels and disciplines to meet faculty and administrators from across the university for informal conversation about their current research/work in progress while enjoying FREE lunch.
This series provides an opportunity for students to hear how faculty became scholars and why they pursue the intellectual questions that structure their research or the professional paths they followed. Students also have the opportunity to discuss their Cornell experiences, education, and future in an informal setting. In addition, it provides a unique opportunity for first year students to meet upper level peers and for undergraduates and graduate students to interact. Students consistently rate this program as one of their best Cornell experiences and among the best things about LSP.
This series made possible with support from the College of Arts & Sciences Dean's office.
