As many Ithacans continue to struggle as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, one person has stepped up to serve the community –– bringing food and culture to neighbors in need.
Ana Ortiz, wearing a brilliant blue turtleneck and black scarf around her head, just returned from turkey distribution with No Más Lágrimas (NML), or No More Tears, the organization Ortiz founded and now directs. The weather was cold, but Ortiz said that she was grateful to see how the community, as it usually does, turned out to support NML.
