Make a Life-long Impact for a Latina/o Cornellian!
Remember your time at Cornell. Which conversation ignited the passion in you to focus on your future? Which conversation gave you the guidance and motivation to make your future a reality? Who did you have these conversations with?

Mentorship is la llave del éxito/the key to success. You were once in the same shoes as our students today; now you can help build the foundation for their success.

We want you to be part of la llave del éxito /the key to success through the Mi Comunidad/My Community Mentorship Program for Latina/o students at Cornell.

LSP is expanding our collaborations with other groups and offices at Cornell to provide Latina/o students on campus with key programming and support to ensure their successful freshman to graduation journey at Cornell. Your gift will go to supporting the infrastructure of the Mi Comunidad/My Community mentorship program and LSP La Llave del Exito/The Key to Success programming.

"In a place as large and busy as Cornell, it’s easy to feel lost in the crowd. Mi Comunidad serves as a place for me to feel at home and gives me a sense of belonging.”  Bryan Scanapieco '20 Economics, Undergraduate mentee/mentor

It takes a comunidad to succeed! We nurture familia! We are a community!

We thank you for your on-going commitment to Cornell's Latina/o community and your contributions to the Latina/o Studies Program and Latina/o/x Student Success Office.

"Words cannot express how invaluable the mentors I have had were in getting me through my academic and professional career, so when I saw this program existed I immediately decided to join. It exceeded my expectations completely! The group is a wonderful mix of people that all teach each other about life and hang out. There is an incredible sense of belonging and automatic kinship that came from our shared backgrounds and was strengthened by our situation as being a minority on campus. For me it became a safe bet that there I had support, friendship, a place to vent and be myself where people just got me." Andrea Monge, Ph.D. Student, PAM, Lead Facilitator, Mi Comunidad Mentorship Program
