American politics, with a focus on political behavior, political communication and the political representation of underrepresented groups, particularly Latinxs.

My current research project explores race, emotions and political engagement among women in the U.S.

I’m looking forward to teaching Introduction to U.S. Latino/a/x Politics and Media, Race, and Political Power in the U.S. this fall.
What most excites you about Cornell:
I’m excited to work with Cornell students and to be part of an intellectual community tackling some of the most pressing questions facing society today. I’m also looking forward to exploring Ithaca and the surrounding region.
