Emergency Fund to support Latinx students at Cornell

The Latinx Student Success Office (LSSO) and Latina/o Studies Program are deeply grateful to the Cornell Latino Alumni Association (CLAA) for its Holiday fundraising campaign to directly support the LSSO/LSP Emergency fund! This fund was established in September 2017 to support undergraduate Latinx students facing emergency funding needs. Back then, students were dealing with political and natural disasters; now in the midst of a pandemic, these funds are more important than ever. This additional fundraising initiative allows Latina/o Studies and Latinx Student Success Office to help more students during these challenging times.

The emergency fund provides grants of up to $500 to undergraduate students with necessary emergency expenses incurred during the fall or spring semesters that cannot be funded by other means. For application details and to apply please contact LSSO Advisor, Juliette Corazon at jr272@cornell.edu.
