Overview

Kennia Coronado is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Government and the Latina/o Studies Program at Cornell University. She will transition into the role of Assistant Professor at the University in 2026. Her research focuses on American politics, with substantive interests in political behavior, political communication, and the political representation of Latinos and other underrepresented minorities in the United States.

Prior to joining Cornell, Kennia was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Texas Woman’s University and a Predoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
