Univision News has released results from two surveys conducted in March 2021 that examined Hispanic vulnerabilities to COVID-19. The surveys were overseen by Sergio Garcia-Rios, Assistant Professor of Government/Latino Studies at Cornell University, who is director of polling for Univision.
The data shows that “emerging Latino communities in the United States are more vulnerable to Covid-19 than the average Hispanic, but they trust President Joe Biden more to solve problems stemming from the pandemic,” according to Univision.
Two thousand two hundred Latino adults in the U.S. were interviewed for the survey, which was conducted in collaboration with UnidosUS, a civil rights organization.
