The Latina/o Studies Program and Latina/o Student Success Office would like to extend a huge congratulation to Kimberly Cárdenas '17, Department of Government/Latina/o Studies minor for receiving the highly competitive American Political Science Association Minority Fellowship! This award targets minority students looking to pursue a doctoral program in political science and only 12 recipients are awarded the fellowship each year. Kim has shown exceptional leadership, involvement, and academic excellence and we applaud her for her accomplishment!
