Shannon Gleeson receives the 2024 Latin@/x Caucus Best Book Award

Shannon Gleeson, Professor of Labor Relations, Law and History in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations and teaching faculty in Latina/o Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences was awarded the Latin@/x Caucus Best Book Award by the American Political Science Association for her book, Scaling Migrant Worker Rights: How Advocates Collaborate and Contest State Power (UC Press, 2023).  coauthored with Xóchitl Bada (University of Illinois, Chicago).

Gleeson will accept the award on their behalf at the upcoming 25th Anniversary Celebration Reception Friday evening, September 6 at the 2024 American Political Science Association meeting in Philadelphia.

Shannon joined Cornell in 2014 and is the Edmund Ezra Day Professor and chair at the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations, Global Labor and Work.
